Meet Jared

Born and raised in the panhandle of Texas, Jared received a scholarship to play baseball and enrolled in an engineering program in Lubbock.  After the first year of college, Jared moved back near Amarillo where he continued at the local Community College.  While at Amarillo Community College where Jared first met his wife of 16 years!  While Jared was working an IT internship at Chevron Phillips, he popped the question and they set their wedding date for July.  With a sense to serve something greater than himself and the ability to give his family security, Jared enlisted into the Air Force as a Weather Forecaster.  He has spent the last 16 years serving the U.S., has been presented with many military accomplishments, has earned a Bachelors Degree, and has been blessed with four wonderful children.  During his years of service, he’s moved his family to 6 different locations around the US, and has served in Iraq, Kuwait, UAE, Oman and Syria.  Jared’s plans moving forward are to continue his education, build community and military networks with Hopefor22aDay.
